Harley Davidson - King Of The Road
Since the early 20th century when Bill Harley and Arthur Davidson collaborated for the first time, motor bike riding has been synonymous with the name Harley Davidson. Maybe the beginnings were not very auspicious, but the fame that followed was unmistakable.
The Company made its first real headway during both wars when its motorbikes were commissioned by the war departments of the time to be used for the war effort.
It is not surprising to find out that, like any Company, Harley Davidson has had its fair share of trials and tribulations. What does set the Company apart from many others though, is its resilience to withstand economic pressure and to come out the other side with all guns blazing.
Today, Harley Davidson's brand recognition remains unaffected. Think of motor bikes, and you think of the name Harley Davidson.
